Originally from Mandan, North Dakota, Maekayla moved to Bozeman, MT to attend Montana State University. She received her Bachelors in Psychology and is currently attending graduate school. Maekayla is passionate about helping to motivate children to learn and explore. Outside of the classroom she enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling and exploring new places.
